New feature of Power Automate in the last year

Let review some new features that came out in the last year or so in Power Automate.

Copilot for Power Automate: This new feature allows you to create automations using natural language. You can simply type out what you want the automation to do, and Copilot will suggest actions and connectors that you can use.

You can use Copilot to create an automation that sends you an email notification when a new lead is created in your CRM system. You can simply type out something like "create an automation that sends me an email when a new lead is created in Salesforce" and Copilot will suggest the actions and connectors that you need to use.

Actions SDK for desktop flows: This new SDK allows developers to create custom actions for desktop flows. This can be used to automate legacy apps and systems that don't have native connectors in Power Automate.

You can use the Actions SDK to create a custom action that opens a specific file in a text editor. This can be used to automate tasks that are not currently supported by Power Automate, such as editing a configuration file or updating a batch file.

Work queues: This new feature allows you to manage your digital workforce more effectively. You can use work queues to distribute tasks to multiple digital workers, prioritize tasks, and track progress.

You can use work queues to distribute tasks to multiple robots. For example, you can use work queues to automate the process of sending out marketing emails. You can create a work queue for each campaign, and then assign the emails in the campaign to the robots in the queue.

Request limits and allocations: This new feature allows you to control how many requests your automations can make to external APIs. This can help you avoid hitting rate limits and getting throttled.

You can use request limits and allocations to control how many requests your automations can make to external APIs. For example, you can set a limit of 100 requests per minute for your automations that use the Twitter connector. This will help you avoid hitting the rate limits for the Twitter API.

HTTP and custom connector support for DLP policies: This new feature allows you to use HTTP and custom connectors in your DLP policies. This can be used to protect sensitive data that is stored in external systems.

You can use HTTP and custom connectors in your DLP policies to protect sensitive data that is stored in external systems. For example, you can create a DLP policy that blocks the export of any data to an external system that is not on your approved list.

View analytics for Power Automate cloud flows: This new feature allows you to view analytics for your cloud flows. This includes information on the number of runs, the average run time, and the success rate of your flows.

You can view analytics for your cloud flows to see how they are performing. This includes information on the number of runs, the average run time, and the success rate of your flows. This information can be used to identify areas where your flows can be improved.
