SESSION HAS EXEEDED THE AMOUNT OF ALLOWABLE RESORCES

 Issue:

User loading an InfoPath web form gets an error message similar to the one below:

"This session has exceeded the amount of allowable resources."

Solution:

  • Visit "Application Event Log"
  • You should see something similat to the error below around the same time the user got the error:

Description:

Number of form actions, 235, has exceeded 200, the maximum allowable value per request. This value is configurable and can be changed by the administrator. (User: ##, Form Name: Daily, IP: ,


  • Go to "Configure InfoPath Forms Service" in the "InfoPath Forms Services" section in "Application Management".
  • In the Number of actions per postback box, change the value to be above the number of form actions listed in the event log. The default value is 200.
