Email content to a document library (MOSS 2007)

let's assume the following names to the listed servers: Domain Controller - DC12345 Exchange Server - ES12345 MOSS 2007 Server - SP12345 (SMTP Enabled) Domain - mydomain.com Do the following on the server DC12345: 1. Access AD and create an OU under the domain - mossmails 2. right click mossmails and click delegatecontrol and add the service account you used for AD 3. Click Next 4. Converting a Site from Windows Auth to FBA - Simple few steps

If you don't want to create multiple applications, then just do those entries on the same web app and configure the default zone from windows to forms. 3. Once you setup anonymous access anyone can access your site 4. Grant privileges to the appropriate party (for the appropriate areas of the site) 5. Content DB's & SSP's are sensitive - Beware of restoring ContentDB issues

Last friday, I was trying to take a back-up of a contentDB from one farm to restored it to another without removing the contentDB on the second farm. Farm1 had the latest content and I wanted to move the Content DB from there to Farm2. Farm1 : http://farm1.spiderwool.com ContentDB : farm1_spider_ContentDB Farm2 : http://farm2.spiderwool.com ContentDB : farm2_spider_ContentDB Instead of removing the content database at the web app http://farm2.spiderwool.com and restoring with the farm1 content database. I directly restored the farm1_spider_ContentDB over farm2_spider_ContentDB Note : Please read the full post before trying any commands specified.
